@ Heath ... the tank actually came with a canister filter. I assumed that there was going to be more than just floss/sponges inside it. I was wrong ... just the sponge. I did rinse it out once since I've gotten the tank. I should probably do that more often. I'd get rid of it but it helps with flow right now until I get the new powerheads. A while back I put a small HOB filter on the back with some carbon to help with checmical warfare and other toxins in the tank. It also makes the water nice and clear. I usually let it run for a few weeks and then turn it off for a while. I was thinking of getting some chemi-pure to put in the HOB filter. I've read some good things about it.
