I will check. I am pretty sure I have some brackets kicking around the shop. I too have an old RO unit I have kept for parts. I have a stupid over kill bracket I had made for just this reason. It was for my media filters. I will look around. If I find it, its yours. I will bring it to the Brantford show. If you won't be there, I am sure someone can relay it to you.
As for what to do now, Get a ratchet strap, and stick it around the top, and around a tree, fence post, etc. Strap it tight, and then undo the canister.
When you put the canisters on, hand tight should be good enough. The rubber seal is really good in most of the units, and don't need to be over tight! I normally give mine a slight twist with the wrench after hand tightening.
