Who is using what salt and why? I am considering trying D&D, I have been using IO for while, is D&D worth the extra cost?

I tried H20 for a bit, seemed good, but went back to IO RC due to access and cost. Just bulk buy IO RC at boxing day and good for the year.

Most salt mixes are very similar. If you require added elements than dose

Reef crystals, seems to be very consistent on elements and as torx said, Boxing Day sales, enough salt to last you a year, at probably 2/3 the price.....

I was using the IO that my buddy gave me with the tank. On Boxing Day I picked up some Kent Marine as there was a sale. I've been mixing the two trying to use up the IO and figured it would also help acclimatize everything to the new salt. By the time summer hits I should be strictly on the Kent Marine.

I've been using the omega premium reef salt for the last 2 years. I'm just about to run out so I guess I have to find something new

I used h2o for a bit, and really didn't notice any difference at all. Now I just buy the 200g boxes, and it's 1 bag for 50g. I use a calcium reactor anyway, so I'm covered as far as dosing.

I use The 200g box of kent reef salt. I find it is good, consistent and the cost is very reasonable.

Using aquavitro. Was using IO.
Finding with mixing I'm getting as good a deal with the vitro taking less to get to 1.026.
Not accounting for sale prices though.
