where is a good place to grab pvc pipes and parts? I have this overflow that needs elbows and fittings and whatnot. I'm not even sure the size of these things. looks like either 1 1/2 inch or 1 1/4 inch. I found barb connectors that fit the threads so I could just hook up flexible tubing (my old tank is done that way for the same reason), but would rather have the real deal. Any ideas? Uni do you carry stuff? :)

Plasco out dundas east by Trails end...M-F 9-5 industrial supplier...they have everything...otherwise Lowe's has a decent selection of the most ordinary pieces.

I was at lowes, they have very basic stuff now, no elbows, no 45s and I thing they just have 3/4 and then 1 1/2 pipe. No threaded commectors that I could find, but they did have ball valves and all the barbed stuff.
May just check out plasco.

Yeah but I get caught up on the OD - ID parts. These fittings are 1.5 OD and 1.25 ID and they're all glued in there so I can't just yank them out and take them with me.

Gary isn't responding to calls or emails, so not getting an answer there on what size these are, we're in prime roofing time I guess, but I don't want to wait until winter to get parts lol.

Any plumbing wholesaler will have what you need. Noble trade is the best around Hamilton, but I don't know what's near you. All plumbing fittings are measured on the OD. So.you could use a caliper to measure the od if you can't get a size, but most fitting are stamped with their size right in them.

Plasco is where I go, but it's a minimum $25 order. Kinda hard to do when you only need 3 fittings at $1.50 ea.

There you go. Noble (they dropped the Trade), south end of Adelaide. 1 block north of Big Al's. East side of the road.

I have a bucket worth of plumbing but your better off walking into plasco and telling them what you need.

Bulkheads are something I do carry though.

Thanks guys, I'll try noble first (closer), but then shoot out to the other one if they don't have what I need. Uni, I have the bulkheads, but nothing else...

I've got a lot of various fittings and pipe too. 1/2" up to 1 1/4". I even manage to get to London a couple of time a month. I try to stay out of the cities.

I grabbed a pile of bits from noble today, but might hit you up as I try and build this thing (and see how quiet it is or isn't!). I don't blame you one bit for staying out of the cities, they're getting unbearable for even a lifer like myself :(

My only real problem with cities is that too many stupid people collect there, and then go for a drive. Not everyone in the city is an idiot, there is just more of them... That and too much concrete. I like grass and trees. I guess I'm a little bit country, but hate country music...
