was going to get my pellets online and was wondering if anyone uses a vertex reactor? if so how do u run it? ive seen it with the screens in place and wasn't overly impressed with the tumble rate/pattern. do i need the bottom screen at all? i have them but looking to see whats been done already before i mod my reactor.
Thanks ;)

I run pellets in the u15 reactor and don't need anything other than the standard bottom plate.  But I think Jewel is using the u20 and had problems with the pellets going through the holes in the plate.

I'm running my reactors off my dart/ snapper through a manifold. They are plumbed in with hard lines. Plenty off flow to go around. I just wasn't sure if the tumble was nice. I've seen them on u tube and there seems to be some dead spots where the pellets could potentially clump in time. Has anyone tried a funnel mode in one of these? Can't seem to find anyone online who really mod these. Maybe I'm just overthinking the whole thing.

I use the base plate at the bottom only and then have a DIY craft screen for the top so pellets can't exit the reactor. Your flow will get better over time when they start getting weighed down with bacteria. Just check everyday to make sure they are not clumping.

Hooked up the pellets last night. I had the screens in that vertex has for pellets and they suck lol. Really poor tumble. I removed the bottom screen an wow what a diffrence. Now I get a beautiful tumble and can blast the snot out of em if I wanted to lol. Have it set for a nice "boil"
