Ph Tester/ Test Kit

Just wondering what everyone uses for their PH test. What recommendations you all have and why.

I'll bet the common answer is a probe off their controller.

Yep probe of my apex.
But b4 that I used a salefert kit

And as to why....... I find salifert kits easy to read. Many kits have color ranges so close together it's very hard to get an accurate reading. I find most salifert kits to have a huge color change between levels personally I find that easier to read

I had not checked pH since my first cycle. When I got my Apex, I didnt even pay attention to it other then to say it was there. I watch it more now that I am dosing as pH is directly affected by ALK. Unless you are dosing, I do not see a reason to test it. Much like I have not checked ammonia in that long either. If you are testing it, API tester is more then acceptable for readings on pH and ammonia IMHO.
