from that 1000bulbs link above a few posts. Yes I had to pay for shipping and all that. oh well. I dont like the whole "matching prices" all it says to me as a business is that they are willing to rip people off with high prices unless your smart and shop around, then we will match a lower price, just to still get the business. If you want my business, I dont want to have to shop around, I want to be able to go someplace and know the price is going to be fair, and im not going to be able to find a cheaper price so why look. Like why cant you just say what price you can do darren...instead of asking for a canadian ad stating the price for you to match.

He's trying to run a business.. Im sure it's not an easy thing at all to run a secussfull business.
Sure there are business that are obviously ridiculous trying to overcharge (like corbetts in Windsor), and I have no clue if thats one or not but I would not judge if the price was fair and close to the msrp even if you could find cheaper online. You could probably find EVERYTHING cheaper online.

ya, you have a good point. I didnt mean to portray darren as such(overcharging) I am not sure what the msrp on these bulbs are off hand. Either way..when you can get stuff shipped to your door, and not have to drive 40 mins..1 way, and save close to $40 per bulb...its hard to not think how that is possible.

and what I meant in my little rant was if Im going to do the work, to find the best price, when I do find the best price...im not going to call back all the other places and tell them i found a better price and ask them to beat it. Imo thats not cool :p
