Mine are both plumbed with 1" flexible hose which is connected to a 1" barb fitting and connected to the test of the hard plumbing.

Just a heads up though. That is NOT a DCT12000. That looks more like the DCS12000. The DCT and DCS are much better pumps, but they are NOT controllable with an Apex or other controller.

my outlet on the 15000 is 1.5" so i crammed the 1.5" pipe it in with the washers and the screw on top for the pump... compression style... kinda mickey mouse but its workin for me.. my 12000 i used a metric conversion fitting from reef octopuss,, my reef octopuss i used a threaded to slip fitting..

Yeah I figured if it does that I have my mag18 for a back up which will give me time to buy a better high quality one. I know it doesn't make sense, I'm just giving the jebao a chance I suppose lol

You sire are correct. It's a DCS 12000.

You can also get it at Home Depot or Lowes. Normally in the aisle with all the fittings in baggies. 10 feet is like $7-8 I think. Or you can get Spa Flex. Either way I'd get something opaque. The clear stuff looks gross after a while.

The barbs are in the poly section. Screw right into the PVC. Grab compound paste for the threads. Much better then teflon tape.

If you can, put unions on both so you can switch out easily. They say the newest version is the best now and they don't fail now. Good luck...

Cheers
