I order them pre made from a local cabinet guy.
They are thermo foil panels? I know very little but liked the look.
For all the pieces it was 550$ I think?

All the Plumbings done, just have to sit and watch the water slowly drip out of the ro lol

I might add the sand and aquascape today , but not sure if I'm
That brave ( doing that before wet testing the tank )
Even though I'm 95% sure everything is perfect

Everything looks great so far. That ro float in your sump though, it won't work for a Ato. From what I see, the water level in that chamber will always be the same as it flows to the Rubbermaid.

Yea adding the Rubbermaid negates that float, I'll add it to the Rubbermaid eventually lol

You think I should go ahead and aqua scape?
I'm kinda bored this afternoon anyways haha

Yes. If you do have an issue, the rock work will displace the water and you will have wasted less water. It is easier to do when you aren't dripping everywhere.

Drill holes large enough for the 3 pin connector cable to go through, then connect cable to the controller. Easy peasy

I dont like drill holes in the tank haha, what about knocking out one of the overflow teeth and run it through there

To clarify, I mean in the euro brace, not the back. But the tooth thing works too. Or drop a grand on some Vortec MPqd's

Ya that's not gonna fly
I think I'll drill the overflow slots bigger

snapped one of the overflow teeth off, both cables slipped in nicely.

a bit of a setback- the bulkhead on the rubbermaid appears to be leaking... along the threads rather than the seal?
worries me a bit as its a weird size aka hard to find (square head 1 1/4'' )
i tightened it up good and put a minimal amount of water in it last night, im going to check tonight and take it all apart if necessary and go from there.

This water is taking forever to make btw... i never knew i could be so patient lol

Take the nut off the bulkhead and fill any and all gap with silicone. Then put the nut back on. Put enough silicone that it oozes out even. If it still leaks, then the threads have a micro crack and there isnt anything you can do but replace. Good luck.

I agree , if it is leaking along the threads it is likely cracked...

I took it all
Apart, were some burrs in the plastic from Molding by the looks of it, I smoothed them out, and dried everything off. Seems good. Will give it another day before I make any judgment calls.
I have all the time as this water slowly drips lol
