If yu have a house. Yur better to spend the money for a generator yu can get one for same price as battery backups..just keep some gas around

I'm in Toronto and you can borrow one of my Hondas but in your OP, you were in a "building" so I assumed apt or condo and if that's the case, they won't be happy when you fire up a generator

I am in condo so generator is not allowed. The power outage only lasted for 2 hours thankfully. Thanks though.
