So I have a marineland 40 gallon tall
Saltwater tank and the other day I was finishing my weekly water change and was cleaning the outer front panel and was near the bottom middle and I could actually kind of pull the plastic back a bit (I could go more but don't want to bust) the tank will be 1 year old in July, the tank is caulked well ( Imo) never any leaks .
Ps I couldn't tell you if this has always been like this just kinda seen it Sunday night :s?

Anyone else have the same thing as me ? My tank is 3' long ,

the only thing trim is useful for is the crossbracing peices which even those are pretty useless. for the most part its so they dont have to grind the bevel on all the edges just the corners. as long as your crossbracing isnt cracking your tank will be fine. ideally it should last 10 years no issues but come that time you will want to reseal it.
