so I have a small HOB breeder box that I keep some cheato in , the pump I bought is a top fin and its the smallest one lol so it's kinda a small flow rate for a 40 gallon tall , so I found the same pump (small top fin) and I have some extra tube and I know somewhere I have a multi valve switch and some extra tube, could i use 2 air pumps the same size and have it tied into 1 tube to return to the breeder box? Or am I wasting my time lol .

Knowing the flow rate ( GPH ) would be a help here.
but remember, the faster the flow of water through your fuge, the less time it has to extract nutrients & P03.
On my 120 with 70 gal sump I have a separate 20 gallon refugium and I only have

I think it's working I didn't relize slow might be better here's the box says it's good for 5 gallons lol

Oh you are using it as an up lifter.
I am nowhere near knowledgeable on uplifters but as far as your fuge performing well, slower and gentler flow will bring better results .
Perhaps someone with more knowledge of the mechanics of hob and uplifting could jump in here???
