ive used dow insulation foam board covered in portland for a lizard tank before is a possibility but is a long cure time it tales me 2 months to leach then cure the portland and crushed coral flats i make but stuff does grow really fast on them

That's how long it took me as well. I even thought about toying with the idea of using muriatic acid in the curing process to try and speed things up. My one structure, I used a lot of vinegar during curing and it finished leaching about a week and a half earlier.

Ya. It's a lot bigger than expected. But the blue doesn't seem to open much. Did you find that in your tank too?

he allways opened but not as much as the gold but took the gold a few months before he opened like that too ihad only had the blue a few months the gold a year

I added a very small CBB and 5 purple queen anthias to my system over the weekend.

CBB was eating at the store and started eating right away when introduced to my tank. He spent most of his days hunting in my rock work for tube worms and hopefully some small aiptasias as well.

Fingers crossed he'll leave my lps and clams alone.

I'll try and snap some tonight when I get home
I'd love to be kept up on the cbb as I want to add one to my system and worry bout my clams and corals
I'll let you know how this guys does. I specifically waited for a small one in hopes it will leave my clams and lps alone.
