I have a 75 gallon tank and am looking to upgrade my return pump. I currently have a maxijet 1800 return and don't think it provides quite enough flow, plus i am thinking of adding a fuge and need to tee off the the return to feed the fuge.

What would be a good size replacement pump with low wattage, good flow and generates little heat.

thanks.

Catalinas are good 'bang-for-your-buck" pumps. they always have sales on. many different models to choose from on their site. I've been using them for years.
