Some new pictures....

My complete set-up display and frag tanks. Things are still under construction.

Frag tank looking a little empty.

Here is one of 4 new frag holders I made from some left over acrylic I had laying around. I'm really happy how they turned out and look much nicer than the eggcrate that I was using.

Black Bar Chromis - I have about 6-7 of these guys in my frag tank. I started with 10 just a little over a year ago but a few decided to jumped out.

Looking really good.

You have your wavemaker facing the front of the tank, i thought it was supposed to face lenghtwise, am i mistaken?

my wavebox works the same either way for me. i think there isnt enough gap between the bulkhead and the side to fit it the other way on Ricks tank.

you must be quite happy with the upgrade.

The tanks come a long way in only a few weeks. I'm already noticing vertical growth in a few of my faster growing SPS as well as some of the frags re-encrusting on to their new rocks. I haven't spent too much time trying to get my levels back to where they need to be. At this point I'm still most worried about the nitrogen cycle. My sand bed and rocks have patches of brown diatoms. There are no substantial signs of other types of algae growth except small amounts of green algae that needs to be cleared from the glass once a day. The systems probably ready for its first water change tonight.
