Sexy Monti Cap

Not usually a Monti guy but the title says it all...

Got it from a hobbyist in GTA who bought it as Pokerstar on a rock but instead of encrusting it plated. Maybe I've been living under a rock but this one is new to me. The pic is at approximately 15000K, at 20000K the purple looks black. The polyps are highlighter green even at 6500K.

Well assuming I don't kill it in my little frag tank...as longs it grows like most Montis there should be plenty to go around.....

That whole indestructible thing was a relative term...unfortunately shortly after I took down my 180gallon reef while everything was in temporary tanks I made a mistake with my water change tanks and taps and filled my one tank with RO during a water change and wiped out all of the SPS in that tank. In the end none of my colonies in that tank survived. I still have one frag that I think is from that coral.

The good news is that over the years I distributed at least 30 pieces of that lovely Acros to various TFT members so even if that one frag isn't it....I'm sure that someone still has some in their tank.
