I would just get a gyre. After getting my first generation gyre issues straightened out (Dan from MOPS hooked me up fast), I just bought another XF150. I'm going to get another for my frag table. The cross flow may be cheaper, but unproven.
Soon these guys are going to be paying us to use their stuff it's so cheap. There is a REASON this stuff is so cheap.
I have way too much $$$$$$ in my tank now to take risks.
