Coral banded shrimps have a bad rep but your peps are probably fast enough to escape
I would keep your eye on things
Personally, I don't mix the two unless you have the "dwarf" blue or yellow color version of the coral banded shrimp

It really depends on the coral banded shrimp. Some play nice and others will kill any other shrimp in the tank. You will just have to wait and see. If you keep it well fed it will be less likely to snack on the other shrimp.

cbs are buggers at best but they are big slow and dumb those peppermints should be more than fine. there is always a risk but for the most part your fine. my coral banded died of old age before he ever caught a shrimp. as for the yellow or blue on their chest that just distinguishes male and female

Hey Steve
This is the dwarf blue CBB that I was referring to - don't get bigger than 1.5 inches so less of a threat IMO

thats just because its a baby i believe as they get older which isnt much bigger than a blood it will only be where their legs attaches. but if thats a dwarf species that is neat looking.
