So this morning I went into basement to check sump and Riley's DT. I realized that my skimmer was quiet?? Looked over and not working. Not sure if I can just clean the ceramic and get it working tonight or not? Will see later. Might need to order a new one up. There goes the plan to get my next kessil light[emoji49]

I had a bk that had bad kalk buildup in the pump. Soaked it in muratic acid and in 10 min it was perfect again. Of course it then requires a good cleaning and rinsing after that but the stuf works awesome

I have one sitting here that you can borrow if you'd like Sewerat, actually 2, hope you get yours up and running but if you don't you are more than welcome to borrow either of them so you don't have to rush out and buy another one.

Thanks guys. I need to fugue out if pump is drawing power or not? I pulled impeller out this morning before I left for work. But still did not get pump to spin. I'll try cleaning tonight when I get home and see. I have a couple other ones myself but one gives me a shocking experience and the other one might be a little small, it's a small HOB one. If I do order a new one I'm going life reef with a mag 9 setup.

Attempted a clean, thought I had it spinning, reassembled it all and nothin. So out it came again and tried it downstairs, nothing. So I rigged up a Venturi, and made a mag9 fit on it, not the greatest but working. Gonna try letting it soak some more, but I think motor is toast, kinda smelled like electric burnt.
