SPS compatibility

I would like to make a transition to few beginner SPS corals. Currently I have soft and LPS corals and just few Monti Cap’s and one Turbinaria.

I am in process to get rid of all leathers, mushrooms and few LPS. I was wondering how Zoas and Paly’s are mixing with SPS? Should I get rid of my two colonies of Paly’s? Can I keep Zoa’s?

Sort of off and on topic... I've always wondered if there are any compatibility issues between *just* SPS corals.  It's always kind of been my understanding that all SPS play nice with each other - is that correct?  I've heard of something called "chemical warfare" but from what I've read as long as you run carbon it shouldn't be an issue.

False, many sps will kill each other, it's always a toss up who will win, I've had a fire and ice milli fall on my red monti cap, was there for maybe 10 min , cap didn't look like anything happen and the Mille was white every where it touched the cap.

But in regards to boga, as long as everything is a safe distance away you got nothing to worry about

Zoas are actually very toxic, The problem with them in the long term is that they take up relestate. I Love Zoas because there are so many colours. I think a mixture of Corals look great in our tanks, SPS like to sit high in the tank and Zoas sit lower, Boga I think you should keep what you like.
