Might be a dumb question but I'm gonna ask. Ok so I love SPS. it looks amaZing. However I have alot of soft coral which I've learned likes a bit of a dirty tank with nitrates and phos... On the other hand SPS needs pristine water... 0 nitrates and phos. So how do you keep both in the same aquarium especially when skimming!?

I actually was just reading a post on AP about this same thing , it is possible to have pristine water were sps thrive and keept softied and lps in there , long term is a different story this guy had a massive zoas collection but they started to die off out of no where after 2 years in an sps dominated tank, so long term affects the growth and look softied in a sps tank.
