Hey Team

I am getting close to getting my stand done ... I was wondering if i can use a minwax stain ???

would this me ok ???

suggestions on how to ???

i use water base stains and varathanes. Less VOC, dry faster, easier cleanup.

Are you asking how to stain? Put it on with a cloth and wipe it off when it's the shade you want. Trick is scrap pieces to test on

minwax is good stain, not sure if is available in water base, just use in well ventilated area.

Water base is way easier to deal with. You can use foam brushes!!

I'll be staining mine soon soon I'll add some pics of that to my build thread

poly protects the wood... definitely recommended.

I have a bar build thread in the off topic discussions I think.

I used minwax ebony, slathered on let sit for about 8 min... rubbed it off with a rag.... 2 or three coats of the wipe on poly to seal it when stain dries

Wood is Oak or Oak Veneer Ply.
