Right now algae and aiptasia issues are on the backburner. Im focusing on not losing all my acros. Im going to start doing 20% water changes for the next few days, to see if that helps. Ive slowed down my pellets so i can slowly take them off.
Also steve im using the digital coralife thermometers. Ill grab another thermometer and see if they match up.

8 month old bulb should be change( you're sure it 8 month old or it could be older?) regardless you should start changing out your bulb if it 8 month old
I know you have invested a lots in corals, it time to invest where it thrive in.

Some could be potentially older. Im supposed to be getting all new bulbs today, so ill be slowly changing them out over the next month or so. Also i talked to Thanh last nignt, he gave me a bunch of advice that im going to follow, mainly because it sounds like the least drastic course for my tank but the most logical.

The only changes in my tank was going from BBF HC GFO to ReefSupplies GFO. That and stopped using tech m. And used a brs one for a cpl weeks after running out. I could see maybe if it was just my older corals stn'ing because of being used to higher n03 in my 75g and now having nothing 6 months later beside p04. But im going to be going back to BBF HC GFO, switching my bulbs out slowly, uve dialed back my 6bulbs on my 8 bulb ati by 2 hours as to not blast them with too much light while trying to heal them. And will be trying to perform daily 20% waterchanges, and trying to get my pellets off slowly and put carbon on. Im a little weary right now towards carbon because ive never ran any type of carbon in any of the previous systems this one started from. So i dont know if thatll be a shock to the system right now. I will not be adding any vodka at this time so i dont have to worry about that causing any type of issues while trying to save my acros.

The carbon will clear the water and allow more light to penetrate so it is possible to cause bleaching if you clear the water too quickly, really slow flow through a reactor or a small amount in a sock in your sump.

Hmm dont have any socks. That seems like it would be the best route before adding it to a reactor. Slowly wean my tank on to it.

Keep us informed about how things go, I dipped a few of my acans, Duncan, and torch corals that were struggling. Hopefully will have something to report later tonight.

Btw I did not see any flatworms to speak of, just a lot of stomatella snails on the underside of the corals/frag plugs.

i have the aquaminder. Recently i had to change the battery because it was 1.6 degrees off and battery warning wasnt even blinking yet..... i never would have known but i always keep one those crappy glass tube ones in just for a second reference

Yeah i checked and there was a 1 degree difference.
