This is probably the slowest build in the history of reef tanks :D I have so much crap going on it's going to be about a year from the time I purchased my first piece of equipment until I actually put water in the tank.

However, I have a master plan. This 70 gal will be around for 2-3 years, but once I get the basement finished I have a perfect spot for a 6' tank. I will move everything from this tank into a 6 foot tank.

That being said what I am looking for .... COLOUR

I need 2 ocellaris clowns for the kids (and myself :D)

I would like a tang. I know most tangs need a 6 foot tank, but a kole would be ok in a 70 gal. I would really like a yellow tang or blue tang over a Kole.

Other than the clown and tang I an open to suggestions.

I plan on it being a reef tank so they need to be reef safe and colourful.

I think that you could do a yellow in the tank, have you thought of chromis and if you want colour have you thought about, maybe a fairy wrasse, some of the colours are very striking...

Yellow tang for algae control

Melanarus wrasse for pod/flatworm control

Some sort of flasher wrasse for show.

Bangaii cardinal as they look like zebras and your kids will love.

Your pair of clowns.

They maybe some chromis or small cardinals for movement.
