so I have a full grown hoevens wrasse my fav fish for a 40 gallon sized wrasse and I bought a 65$ gobey today and after dripping and the process to add him to the tank ... Well let's say it looked like a cat and mouse game then within 20 seconds I looked over and the gobey was in my wrasses mouth head 1st and smacking it off rocks and then it's head came off he ate it and left the body ..

Is this a game
Or
Is he hungry?

I'll be honest im considerd an over feeder ( but with caution, nitrates are never over 5 ppm) and his belly is always fat so I don't think he's hungry , I've never seen him hurt or touch a fish , what do you guys think :( im pissed and wasted 70$ lol

 thats insane. but not unexpected. your goby was too small. Straight from Live Aquaria website..... Regular feedings should include a variety of prepared and live meaty foods, such as feeder shrimps, flaked foods, and marine fish

He's Like a little mini T-REX!

yep sucks, but you learn a valuable and expensive lesson. Never make an impulse purchase. research and research and plan.

I'm not one to talk, I've made too many impulse purchases to count and still do. But I usually talk myself out of most of them.
