Heey reefers I need some help I have a 260 gallon with a 125 gallon sump and I don't like the way the baffling is done in my sump so how could I change it with the tank running
And how long can a tank with lps and fish stay healthy without a sump and just a heater lights and power heads on ???

I would say a few days you should be fine with no sump just throw in a air stone to keep the oxygen going.

I agree .. few days easily..You may get an ammonia spike if your sump has a lot of liverock/biofilter and you just remove it from the system but nothing a little prime couldn't fix, would probably be a minor thing if that happens at all. Air stone or power head pointed towards surface willl suffice for Oxygen.

Do you have a good size HOB filter ( aquaclear 110 ect ) or a canister filter you could set up as a temporary "mini sump" you could use?
I have had to do this occasionally and I Used a aquaclear 110 with some filter media - reef carbon and filter pad. And then an old Skilter 400 ( yes, I still have one of those Lol )
With just a few of my smaller live rocks out of my sump.
As for the baffle rework in your sump, I can think of no way to do it without taking your sump offline completely.
Just my 0.02$ worth

I've done that.

Drain sump, put sump LR etc in bin with sump water. Heater and power head. Put heaters in tank. Do what you need in sump and wait for silicone to cure. You have at least4-5 days or more. Do wc on main tank first.
