I want to add a sump to my coral tank, its a 46 gal bow front, what would be a good size, is there a rule of thumb that I should know about..

Big enough to fit your equipment, and I like to leave some room for any upgrades you may do later.
As well, make sure it fits under your stand
So many people build/buy a sump, and the darn thing won't fit into the stand. Just not enough room to maneuver it in!

Make sure it's not too tall, It's hell to empty the cup on your skimmer if you can't get at it. Dumb question but I take it that your tank is drilled.
