im doing a new build and sold my sump with it.

For the first time ever, I'm considering having a sump BUILT.

I have a big sump for my frag system, but it's not deep enough to handle the extra overflow from both the frag tank and the main system.

Where do you guys typically get your sumps from. I don't want to spend stupid money on a sump, but a good design will be worth its weight in gold to me.

Its not hard, I did it... when you buy your glass for the baffles ask the glass store about recycled glass, its half the price of new...

Problem is clearance under the stand. It's an in wall, but designed to be viewed from the couch. Stand overall might be 30". I can make one, but won't be wide enough. Or if it is, too tall lol

I figured it out last night.

Under the tank I may or may not use my sump from the frag system. What I AM for sure doing is a couple of big stock tanks. Ugly, but huge volume for cheep cheep. I can tier them.

I'm going to start on the Reno this weekend.

Ordering the tank tomorrow.

Why does it have to be directly under it. Why not to the side. I believe where the closets are now. Build something up over there. Sort of a 45 angle over to there. Make better use of the space.

Dude, you have a huge opportunity now with all that space. Wife is pissed regardless, so might as well take full advantage and take the time to plan the space perfectly so you aren't making compromises everywhere later making changes and calling me at midnight on Tim's runs. This part of things is fun for me. For many I would assume so bounce ideas, keep an open mind, and don't be too narrow minded with different ideas.
