Need to replace my stock AQUATIC LIFE t5 bulbs
420/460
10000k
420/460
420/460
Purple
420/460

Looking to switch to all Giesemann bulbs (I have a hook up ;) )
Here are my options
Aqua Blue Coral > 70/30 6000k/22000k
Aqua Blue Azure > 16000k-17000k
Super Purple > White/Violet
Super Atinic > Very Strong White/Violet
Atinic Blue > Atinic Blue from 400nm - 510nm

My current setup seems too white, looking for more "pop" with the blues.....any tips or recommendations appreciated! Thanks

IMO don't bother with any of the low PAR "true actinic" bulbs in your combo. I ended up removing them from my 8 bulb unit in favor of more blue+ (Ati bulbs). Bear in mind that no t5's will give the "pop" that royal blue LED's create.

So you're saying I don't need atinic at all?
Would you consider the Aqua Blue Coral comparable to the ATI blue +?

I think Geismann calls their high PAR blue bulb Actinic+ which are comparabl to ati blue plus. In the blue/actinic range most of the companies offer high PAR bulbs as well as low PAR "true actinics".

Those low PAR short wavelength bulbs are not worth considering now that the high PAR blue plus types are available.
