Just wondering if metal 1/4" tees are ok to use on my RO unit for my inline tds meter? Its had a slow leak ever since i first removed the line to change something. Ive tried cutting new ends and all that. And i cant seem to find any of the pvc or plastic tees that it originally was, locally.

No metal. Especially as water will be sitting idle at the fittings when not in use. Or at least I wouldn't.

As for the old fitting, there is an o ring that might be cracked or need to be re seated. If you gently pull the collar out, you will see the o ring. Need some tiny tools to get at it though

if its the o ring i have an entire set with every size imaginable and they are industrial strength o rings not the cheap crappy tire or home depot brand. if they hold up in my high pressure airless sprayer they will more than do for ro lol.... tweezers and a bobby pin or needle work well to get them out.

do you have a water depot store in Ingersoll or a place that sells water purification, they will test usually for free...I would take samples of all the water that you use, before, after and in between...
