Was looking at some old pictures on my phone and came across across the picture of my frogspawn frag. what a change in 8 months.
I also thought i would include a pick of my tank that i started with to where i am today.
Its nice to look back at some old pics and see the progression that has been made in the 1.5 years i have been in the hobby.

So............Lets see those than and now pics.

Wow, Thats some wicked growth!
That's one thing I noticed, you can nearly watch these things grow under optimal conditions!

I see the pair of greenbird wrasses in your first pic, do you still have them? I have a pair that I picked up in London at Pet Paradise over a year ago, now I'd say, are mine yours? They told me they got too big for the tank they were in. They're in a 135 gal now. Love them.
Your tank looks great by the way ! Great growth, thanks for sharing

thanks sunny, I got rid of my wrasses maybe a year and a half ago, give or take. they were way too big for my tank so had to let them go, and they were a real pain to catch, fast little buggers. are yours green/bluish and brown? i took mine to a place called the box of water which is now closed. I believe they still had them when they closed down so pet paradise may have bought those off them.

I wonder if that in fact is what happened. I have never seen another pair since purchasing this pair and I love them, it was a shock to see the photo of yours !  I did post some pics a while back, I'll see if I can find them and link it for you. I'm quite sure it is the same pair. They are loving the 135 gal tank for swimming space. I'd say the male is now between 7 and 8 inches and the female is about 5 inches long

Good to know where they came from ! I get so much enjoyment out of them, he's a real character, he'll splash water out of the tank to get my attention, and yes, he does make a lot of noise when he's eating, snout right out of the water at times, I worry that one day I'll come home to him on the floor, but he seems to know just how hard to hit the water (at least that's what I think - could be very wrong and one day find him on the floor) BRS has screen kits that I want to look at for the tank to prevent that from happening. At least you know where they are. Did you get them as juveniles? I have never seen another male, and only 1 tiny female on a trip to Toronto at Christmas. I consider myself lucky to have them.

No, I got them when i purchased my very first tank.they were quite large when i got them.  it was a 55 gallon and i felt bad for them with how big they were and how small the tank was. Its kinda cool knowing were they ended up and knowing the are in good hands. Glad you enjoy them, they are great fish with lots of character.

they certainly do have character ! Now I wonder how old they actually are? hmmm, it's interesting to find out more about them. I love the look of your tank, I can really see that they'd have fun disrupting it, at least they don't bury in the substrate like my engineer gobies LOL
thanks for the info on these guys !
