so this all scares the hack outta me .... I wear first aid gloves EVERY TIME i go into my tank .... is that strong enough now I wonder if first aid medical gloves would be thick enough to protect my hands...

I would think so. I was just at Princess auto today and they have nitrile gloves half off so I bought a couple hundred of them LOL

dollarama yellow dishwashing gloves are alot thicker than most and will last quite a while
