gingers wont care well in the Texas sun.  ;D

I think you need to put it into perspective. You live a.good life and it you gotta pay for that. Simple as that. U move to the states and you will pay $25000 a year for tuition for ur kids to attend a school that would cost you 5000 a year up hear. God forbid you or your wife is diagnosed with cancer.... youll burn through your cash faster than putting it in a barrellel and setting fire to it. Canada's safety net keeps healthcare, education and other  services within reach for everyone. Sure you pay a ton of tax and you probably will mever use that amount in services but what about your kids. What if one of them isnt as financially secure in the future as you are? Look at all the Americans living in cardboard boxes that used to earn 6 digit incomes and paid next to no tax. The US is a greedy hell hole looking for the rich and fucking over the rest. Once you've spent your money there they will have no qualms with telling you to go fuck yourself when you need help.

I agree that your getting fucked man, no question about it. Its tough to literally throw away half your money every yearbut from the sounds of it ur living a pretty solid life. 4 kids, lots.of.money, large breasted wife, pool, hot tub, mediocore reef.tank, 8 tvs , bar, discoteque, etc.

If you dont want to give it to tbe tax.man maybe you should seriously consider a starting a charity or creating a foundation to pass on the great zakk /glenn legacy.

As for ur electrical.problems... have you looked into insulating ur house top to bottom and trying other green technology? Lots of grants out there!

I like most of those things, except for the ones I've never heard of.

We actually have a bunch of 'relatives' in texas.  My sister says that I am 'a perfect redneck', in that I like SUV's, beer, steak, dogs, boobs, and guns.  However, I have a sort of half brother family, and I tell you, I ain't that.  He's uber religious, and UBER racist.  For all my many many many many faults, I'm not religious.

(that is a tongue in cheek joke, btw  ;D ;D ;) )

and yes, it did go off track pretty quick.

Actually, we're waiting until the kids are out of school.  Heh, I'm not a total idiot!!  ;D

We looked into 'golden' full coverage health insurance.  Even paying that huge policy every month, we would be SOOOOOOOO far ahead tax wise, that it would be well worth it. Also.... I hate to break it to you, but my wife was a cancer nurse for years.  Want to know what the waiting list is for cancer surgery here in canada?  No you don't want to.  Wander into the cancer clinic at Vic west sometime if you want to see how good cancer care is here.... it's an eye opener (like I said, the only politics I know is health politics).  We're both considering paying big bucks for health coverage in the states, in case any of us needed 'urgent' care.  You can get EXCELLENT healthcare in the states, probably best in the world quite honestly, but nobody there wants to pay for insurance for something they may never need, so they get stuck with huge hospital bills.  There's a lot more to it, and we're slowly educating ourselves on the best way to do it... but put it this way, I'd rather pay for my own health insurance, than to keep paying for this crappy public system.  At the very least, a valid two-tier system is needed.  (at least in my opinion).

The wife actually had breast reduction surgery before I met her.  I'm hoping that they can put them back in once we get to texas.  ;)

Oh, and yes, plenty of sunscreen for the ginger.  At least his soul can't burn!  ;D

Scarey thing is Dalton is just warming up,we are all about to get a good screwin here real soon with that  Drummond report  out and him making noise about all kinds of things like the real cost of producing electricity.........80+ cents a KW to those with solar and windmills attached directly to the grid is only one thing, water, services  etc are all gonna come into play real soon unless there is some kind of no confidence vote on the next budget, but i think that is what he will aim for so he can pass the buck to the other parties

Until things happen, I don't put any stock in reports and recommendations.  Often times, they use 'worst case scenario' tactics, to get people to agree to things.  For example "we're going raise taxes 400% this year!" and then when they only raise taxes 10% everyone is relieved.  It's kooky but it almost always works.  Especially when they can get the media onboard...it adds validity to it, and gets people believing that 400% taxes could happen (okay crazy example, but you know what I mean).  Tinfoil hat kind of stuff.
