Not sure if anyone uses Aquatop equipment (I do, they make good stuff!), but if you do, don't bother ordering it from truaqua.com. I ordered a filter april 13. Paypal payment was accepted same day, order status was "shipped". Waited the 5-10 business days for it to arrive. Nothing. Emailed them this past monday saying i had not received the item, or even a tracking number (which i should have gotten the day after it shipped). Today they finally get back to me with this:

"Hello,

I apologize for the delay in shipping.
There was a miscommunication with myself and the warehouse.
The order will be shipping out tomorrow morning. I will personally send you the tracking information.
I apologize again.

Customer Service and Technical Support"

I'm just venting, but seems like once they get your money, customer service ceases to exist. Great products, but buy from amazon or other retailer, not direct!

Agreed. It seems like there was a boom in these stores of people looking for a quick easy buck due to demand, however since that boom, almost all stores quality has diminished due to cost savings trying to stay competitive.

The only reason i ordered from them is because the filter i want (aquatop ife30) isn't easy to find here. Couldn't find it at the usual stores (mops, petsandponds, etc.). Amazon has it, but they don't take paypal. Live and learn I guess.

are you going to request any type of compensation, I would..that is not right..considering that it probly going to be another week before you get it..

It's for my daughter's tank. I really don't like having zero filtration (except the liverock), but everything seems to be doing well. Gonna lose my mind if it crashes though!

Frustrating that you have to go through so much just to get a tracking number. I hope it arrives properly this time.

According to canada post, the filter should be delivered today. In a way that irritates me, because if they shipped when they were supposed to, it would have been here 2 weeks ago. Happy day! Daughter's tank will finally get decent filtration, and the main tank will get a new puffer and 5" (allegedly) pearlscale butterfly :)

that great, where are you getting/find a pearlscale butterfly..
were are they shipping from (country) I order a couple of items from China and they came in yesterday..quicker than your first post, I would be asking for some kind of refund..
