I was thinking of getting half a dozen 10W rgbs to light up the house at (insert holiday here). Turning my house red is a lot easier than putting up christmas lights.

I bought something similar for my freshwater tank. I used them to get the "shimmer" effect on my water

I had three of these guys, and they lit my tank up perfectly. I had to add my own plugs though which was a pain in the ass but I got em working.

I had the white 5000k-6500k lights, the warm whites are only 3100k-3400k.

I am actually using them on my frag tank to add some lighting. Not sure if they are powerful enough for corals though. Here are the specs:

800 Lumens
10 Watts

they seem to work pretty well.. not too bright 1 could do a 5 gal with softies easily or 2 on a 10g which is what i prob will do, or a 20 and the existing 10. ., as for the color changing.. i left the remote in my pocket and now the batt is dead.... i think... but the colors were great... the blue is very nice and very bold.. the white is pretty good for me, white with descent colors produced.. although it turned my yellow extention chord orange.. o ya i forgot to say these are the rbg ones


so.. for $20 or $37 for the 20w,, delivered to your door, they are a great deal!
