Tunze 9004 Incompatibility

I am thinking which option is better:
-using only one intank media basket on one side and use tunze 9004 skimmer on the other side. I am worried that I am at disadvantage of removing debris and etc since I only have one intank media basket, or
-return the 9004 skimmer and get IM ghost skimmer that is design for the tank and it will fit. This option allows me to use 2 intank media baskets

Which one is the best option for the health of the tank?

When I had a biocube I used a hob cpr. A did have to cut the hood for the water lines on the rear. You did not notice the hood modifications though from the front/sides

thanks for your input, but I was inquiring about IM Fusion 40 tank with Tunze 9004 and IM ghost skimmer.

Sorry I went off topic. I have never used the ghost but have used that model of tunze. I'm it would be best to use both in tank baskets over the one. My tunze didn't pull a ton of stuff. I had 5 fish in my bc29 gallon. I removed it and added another media basjet and the hob skimmer.
