Hi guys, I want to share my 57 Gallon reef tank. I will try to catch this thread up my thread on a a local forum.
LGI LETS GET IT!!!
Tank – Reef Ready Oceanic Illuminata (36”x18”x21” 57gallon rimless)
Sump – 30 gallon + 65 gallon tomb
Return pump – Eheim compact 5000+
Skimmer – Super reef octopuss 1000 int
Lighting – 2X Aqua Illuminations Sol Blues
Water movement – 2 x MP40W es
Reactor - 2 x TLF 150 reactor (1 for biopellet, 1 for carbon & GFO) run off an eheim 1262
This build started on July 2011.
Rockwork is 100% dry Marco rock, I love Marco rock for the porousness of it and ability to create awesome shapes and to be able to take my time aqua-scaping. With the experience with my tank, and helping out with THMH & Flazky's rockwork, I have come to really really love working with this dry rock.
I made a fake tank to help me build my scape without any problems later with things not looking the way it should. I took my sweet time doing the scape, few minutes here, an hour there, and 2 weeks later...!
My modded TLF 150 reactor to tumble pellets better,
