Using Filter Media During Cycle

So I'm using Filter floss, Chemi pure and purigen in my media basket for my bc29. i was wondering, i just started my cycle today, should i use me filter media now or just wait till cycle is done??

I Would only use the filter floss, you want to build up the bacteria population. By stripping the tank of the food they eat you wont have a large population that you need when you start adding livestock.
