5 gallon a week. On my 90 it was so bad I installed glass tops onto the DT to stop all the evaporation. Sump in cabinet is all open and a fan installed today. Temp is at 81.5 so the fan should help but will likely add more evaporation now.

Christ, I wish that's all I had to add to my tanks, my heaters don't even come on with the heat and all of my windows are open...

You will use more water using a humidifier than you will with the evap of water in the tank just as an FYI. This is my first winter with a tank, and even when humidifier is cranked I still struggled with low humidity. Now it's way lower, so I'm actually benefiting.

low humidity means more evap.... my furnace doesnt have a built in humidifier so air is super dry and i lose alot to evap. if there is a built in humidifier on your furnace you will lose less in your tank to evap.

What I am saying is a humidifier to bring humidity levels to where people want uses FAR more water in a day than you are losing to evaporation. Most people have no clue how much they use. Here is a chart to give some examples.

Well your gonna use water to control house humidity anyway so might as well save on some evap and turn up humidiy 5%. Less evap in tank means more stable levels. Lots of evap has potential for big swings. your furnace does it by itself so might as well save afew ato topoffs
