I have a couple of 20 year old turtles and a pair of Water Dragons (in separate tanks), and the crap that my filters pull out of the water is gross.
I never look forward to cleaning out their filtration systems. I just had to do my lizards filter yesterday and the smell that came from it was pretty intoxicating.
But honestly, the skimmer on my saltwater tank is a pretty close second!

Worst cleaning job ever... Plugged sewer pipe from house with 4 teenage daughters. It wasn't plugged with tree roots. Just saying...

My worst cleaning job....
Mopping up all the water on the floor in my second kitchen every time I forget that my ro unit is producing water and that I have to switch containers around. - which is pretty damn near every single time! Lol
Some Good news though, floors so clean there you could eat dinner off it! :)

I hated cleaning sumps, so, I have been working on a maxijet attachment. Prototypes are done. Just tweaking the design to speed up 3D printing time, and to add strength. Should have them for sale soon :)

Basically it turns a maxijet into a sump cleaning/water change tool!

no I don't pay for water.. I will check into them, bart tried to hook his python to my sink and the fittings don't match.. currently I use a mj400 to pump the water out but my sump has 2" baffles and you can't get the shit out..to put the water back into the tank I use a mj1200 with a 50'hose.. and it takes no time.. the 75g is a snap to clean, I can do a good size water change in less than an hour...

Once I have the mj attachment finished, I will do an extension piece for this purpose.
