Wish I could afford a quality salt but I figure if you're dosing then whats the diff. really. So it's IO purple for me, I sure hope BA is stocked up for Boxing day sale.

IO purple box is a quality salt, and probably the most widely used world wide also.

Really, like I said in my original post it doesn't matter if you're dosing and I will buy IO Purple because it's cheap and readily available.

Not really, H20 is a quality salt, but not very affordable. JMO
I tried h2o for @ 8 months, found it left a lot of brown residue in my mixing container and I still had to dose everything and I didn't see any difference except the price so I switched back to IO.

I've been using IO Reef Crystals but maybe I should just switch to the purple box, although I'm on no dosing regiment as of yet.  :-\

Would be a good time to switch then. Cheaper then the RC.

ive uesd it too but theres not much change, unless your doing fat water changes you still need to dose the same amounts to keep your levels in check.. like my daily consumption of alk and cal didnt change so a small change from a water change did nothing for me, maybe if you were keeping an lps or softie tank it might benefit a bit if you werent dosing anthing.
