Tunze, extra strong.

Love that sand does not get caught in it, can get right down under sand line without worrying about scratches, and can go around corners without having to get in the tank with my hands.

Mag float- nice and strong but gets aragonite stuck in it
Fluval Edge- not as strong but you can see every spot you miss and get in tight corners and doesn't collect sand bed material

Tunze Care Magnet (thanks, Kevin!) and a Three Little Fishies NanoMag for those places where my live rock is too close to my glass for the Tunze or MagFloat to fit.
Love 'em both...

With then60 gallon cube and the nano flipper wasn't strong enough, works great on the 20 innovative nuvo. The largest flipper on the 60 and it's nice. I couldn't justify the price of the tunze one.

Blue pot scrubber from the grocery store does most of the heavy lifting.

I might try the Kent Pro-Scraper II when I run out of things to buy.

Did the Mag-Float thing for a while, but gave them away, they make a mess.

I try not to use metal unless necessary. I'm not scared of it, just the blue pot scrubbers do a pretty good job on regular glass, starphire and acrylic, though I admit not as fast as something metal. I have some Hagen type metal scraper if the coralline gets out of hand.

The Problem I've had in the past with with these types of scrapers is not getting a large enough one. If you have the big one 80% of the time, it works every time.

virgin razor blade only. Anything else has a risk of scratching the glass in my experience. It is so effective my DT is 20+ years and the only scratch on it is from a falling rock.

All Acrylic tanks here....but.....acrylic car windshield scraper and magic erasers. Also Mag float with DIY acrylic scraper base for light maintenance when I can't get my hands wet.
