Just when i start thinking im getting over AEFW, i find 2 large flatworms on one of my torches...just f#cking lovely! Lost for words right now. Almost to the point where shutting it down and restarting everything fresh is the best route. Found them on a new torch i added a cpl weeks backs. This hobby sure takes a toll on my stress level.

Regular flatworm? I wouldn't overly worry about them. Keep doing what you are. Generic flatworms aren't going to be a huge problem unless they are out of control irritating things.

If you dose flatworm x, when they die if not siphoned out, they will almost 100% crash your tank.

+1 Regular red flatworms don't really hurt anything and are easy to eradicate if their appearance bothers you...Stay focused on the bad guys!!!

Sounds like a predator for that specific coral. I would dip all your euphyllia. Flatworm exit may or may not work, but I know revive and bayer work for sure on those types. The flatworms big and grey?

Yup, they will eat your torch. Check for eggs if no eggs then you should be good. They don't stray to far from the coral, similar to the AEFW.

Check/Dip any other euphyllia.

really good info Jerry, I found a couple of them and killed them in the tank, I didn't siphon them out and my tank crashed shortly there after for no apparent reason, or so I thought, thanks for sharing..

ya it sucks even with proper qt and dipping a couple eggs can make it by and unfortunately thats all it takes... even if i know the person well i like to do a main dip in one bucket where most falls off if anything then dip in a separate bucket just to make sure nothing else is falling off then qt for a couple months dipping every 2 weeks to kill any freshly hatched before they can lay more. If you dont constantly dip in qt then qt is pointless since any eggs that wont die from dip will hatch and infest your qt

Was this the torch you got from me? If so I'm sorry and I should treat my system iv never seen any but that don't mean they are not there
No i dont believe it was. Came from a store i believe. I only found 2 so far, and have dipped all my euphyllia twice now and havent seen any more.

Also i think my sps are almost done treatment. Havent seen anymore adults, and cant tell if whts at the bottom of the pail are baby ones or just particles and sand. During this whole escapade I lost RR Jawdropper, RR Pretty In Pink, RR Jays true Peacock,RR Red Dragon, Tyree Pink Lemonade, tri color bonsai, Red Planet, Blue tipped stag, and Pink Milli.

I would let things settle and get it all cleaned up, then hit up BIGSHOW for some of his signature sps frags he's been cooking.
