I haven't seen them called elegant before. Purple fire fish is their common name and they are usually available through most LFS.

He is based out of London, but makes personal delivers a few times a month. He just did one today up there. PM him to get some details.

You sure some of you aren't confusing purples with Exquisite? Would explain the price differences being discussed. They are similar with one being more yellow and a shorter dorsal.

Woohoo, this is the learning portion of the show :) My favorite. I had no idea there were 2 different ones. A little time on the Google and here we go. Nemateleotris decora and Nemateleotris exquisita. The decora is the typical purple firefish with the longer dorsal fin. It typically retails for $40 +/-, currently on sale at lifeaquaria for $25.99 (USD). Then there is the exquisita. It has a shorter dorsal fin and coloring of the other fins are more a deep purple then red. Mine are definitely decora.
