So I'm moving out soon and I figure it's easy to upgrade than move my 55 gal! So here's the tanks up for options!  Standard 90 gal or 120 gal short (4x2x2) the problem is I'd rather not buy a new Light fixture and will my 4 bulb fixture (4 footer) be enough for both tanks!  I'll be picking up the tank with the next month and half and I'll be posting my build up in the build forum :)
Any help on upsizing would be nice too!!!

do the 120 for sure... you'll find that the depth (front the back) is really cool .....
i had an 18" 135g tank and upgraded to a 180g with the 24" width... really love it... gives the fish that much more room...

if you could go to a 6ft tank that would be better :) but i understand your situation...

the 120 like brandon said . IMO i like the 4ft tank anything longer to me is to much , 4x2x2 would be my pick that fixture will work but a 6 bulb would be better :) or even an 8 bulb lol

Yes, my next tank is going to be much deeper in width...... Allows better rock assembly and gives it more of a full 3d look when it comes to the aqua scape. I visited burc at fragalot yesterday and he has moved his setup into his garage and bought a new 225g display tank which is much deeper and it looks awesome!!

I really like 4ft long and 2ft width!! I'm thinking that the 4 bulbs will give me the perfect shaded area for favia and war corals as with my 4 bulbs fixture in my 55 the entire tank is really bright!!

Yeah man!! I'm hoping the 4 bulbs will be good will LPS and softies. I plan on building 2 reefs with a valley in the middle :)

4 bulb on a 120 should be good for a lps/softie tank.......should be nice. I would recommend a 2 blue+,1 purple+ and one aquablue or kz new generations.  If you could add a strip of Led that would add some real pop.

Definitely go with a 120G. The 2ft width is so much easier to work with. Plus, it gives you lots of space on your substrate for all your low light corals. Your fish will appreciate the extra room as well. I agree with the lamps Darryl suggested as well. Perfect for coral growth and colour. If you want SPS at all, a 6 lamp would be much better.

I'll have a 6 lamp Tek Lite Elite, with mounting brackets, for sale in just over a month  ;)

That's the exact system I have on my 55 and man is it bright!! What kind of LED strip would you suggest?

And I'll think about the tek light but id like to but the light money into new fish lol

Where is the best place to look for a new tank?

You can look in miracles aquariums website. ..yu can pick out what widths and lengths amd depth  yu want.  If there's none in stock. Yu can get custom made ...,might be hard to find one new unless Theres a used one

Yeah I just looked at their website Peter, they have some nice stuff!! Delivery would be my biggest concern!! I'm almost set on going with the 120 and I'm drawing the floor plans out for power head placement and rocks. I won't be posting anything until I buy the tank but I'm going to stay with the 4 bulbs fixture, upgrade to a vertex skimmer and throw a 55 gallon sump under then or put the tank up next to a closest and have the sump behind the wall.

It's going to hard to get Rick placement because most of my colonies are attached to the existing rock
