Ok, so I've got a better handle on things now with the tank up nearing 6 months. Some algae and cyano issues here and there, but overall a better handling of the tank and it's inhabitants.

I started with no love rock. Just "cured" marco rock.

It's time to get it seeded with some coraline. Who is willing to come help? I've had various people make various suggestions. It's just time to get some color in there!

hey you gotta start somewhere... no tank need be without Aptasia. They are the part that make reefing frustrating and expensive. Personally I have gone through all of it and think that they are quite beautiful.... :)

come to cambridge got tons on my back glass just bring a fine mesh net about 4-6" wide to catch it and ill scrape a crap ton off for ya.... i do that and spread it around my tank every now and then because i started with dry and cured it myself as well..... 2 years only aptasia i had was from a frag from someone but peppermint shrimp had that gone within a day. whats aptasia lol

Your welcome to come scrape as much off my sump as you want. I'm about 15 min away from Columbia /phillip St in waterloo...I work at BlackBerry but live in wellesley, takes me 15 min to get to Waterloo.

They still have offices over there? I thought they were all moved to RIM park area now?
