Yellow Wrasse And Six Stripe Wrasse

will they get along in a tank it's 125 gallon with lots of rock I have a six stripe and I'm thinking about picking up a yellow one as part of pest control crew [emoji6]

I think @Painter Steve have both of them in his tank if I'm not mistaken. Or was it @EricTMah?
I know I saw it at somebody. I'm kind of thinking doing the same thing to see if the yellow wrasse will eat my stupid red planaria as the six line doesn't look like doing any good job on those.
I guess it also depends on the individual character of each wrasse that you get.

Wasn't me. My male Leopard wrasse is a dick and harasses any wrasse I put in.

I wouldn't recommend it. Most 6 line wrasses become aggressive if added first. Most times 6 lines are the last to go in.

I have both. My Sixline is a dick as well and has been in my tank for years but he seems to get along with the Yellow. The yellow is on the bigger side too so they are close in size, if he was any smaller id say the six line would have done some damage. I'd defiantly use caution mixing these 2 together, I think I lucked out with mine.

I wouldn't do it, I have a small 6 line, added a yellow that was a good inch bigger and the yellow has disappeared.. my 6 line is a bully/asshole...

My yellow wrasse is very docile and not just dose it's own thing

Yellow wrasse are the best. They do not bother anything. Now a melanarus wrasse is a pain the ass and is constantly harassing the yellow.

sometimes you just gotta roll that hard 6. Backup rehoming plans are always a good idea!

Hah yeah I had a backup plan if they didn't get along I would move him to my frag tank untill I can figure something out
