What fish do you like, and why.  What's your favourite.

Let's stick to reef-safe, 'generally peaceful' temperament fish. 

I've got maybe 8 fish in a 125, and wouldn't mind adding something with a zing of colour, maybe a coral beauty or something (my flame angel died after about 6 years not too long ago).  But maybe something that has some personality. 

??

Haha I just like them, and see them in a lot of reef tanks.

Bicolor Angel is one of my favs to watch. Very curious fish. Likes to nip at rocks n corals. Not a good pick for your tank.

Another Fish I like to watch is my Solar Wrasse.  reef safe I believe.

I like wrasses, but have a real nasty 6 line.  Tried to kill a mystery wrasse.  However I agree wrasses are coolio.

I've got 18 fish total in my 135. All reef safe. Fave fish are def anthias. Talk about colour. Get a school going and you will be happy. If your wallet says yes, opt for Bartlett anthias. Yellow pink and purple with a hint of orange. My fave

i love wrasses to but ima go with my blue throat trigger so much character in him and ill definatly pick him as reef safe . he dosnt pick at coral and he lets my cleaner hop on him nice silver blue with yellow fins..plus the way his eyes move znd look human are awesome

If your tank can handle it. Possibly a pair of mandarins.  I would also second the blue throat trigger.  Just remember if you go with Anthias they need to be fed 2-3 times a day minimum.

OK,  I have to agree with CB.  I have a Sargassum Trigger and he is awesome to watch.  The way they swim and their personality is just awesome.  Even have him trained to eat outta my hand now!!

I have one mandarin...was supposed to be a mated pair, but they wouldn't dig the mate out of the sump, so now I just have a sad lonely mandarin that stares at itself in the glass all day.  :(

I really really don't think I'm ever going to get a trigger.  Except for here, I've never ever heard them labelled as 'reef safe'.  They just need to get a bit hungry and suddenly your corals look awful good.  Also, there's no way I'm feeding twice a day to anything.  Too much crap in the water, and likely my hair algae will come back and sps will suffer.... that said, looking at pics, man they are nice looking fish.

In my tank my favorite fish would my little hector goby :).  When you combine that he sifts the sand and eats all kinds of Algee it's a win win!!!  :D

I don't know as if I have had a hector goby, and they sure look neat.  Where did you get yours?

I got mine from a LFS owner (sams pampred pets). He kept the little guy in his frag tank so never sold it for a year (I guess they can be hard to acclimate to tank life). I always bug the guy to selling him to me so final he called up and said he was shutting down the frag tank and to come and get him!!!

Cardinal fish, lol, not. No wonder my brother gave me his. No one has mentioned tangs?  I have had 3 a powder blue, naso, and a scopas tang.  All have huge personality and attitude.

plus 1 for coral beauty, beautiful and they act kind of like tang's, playful and fast swimmer's, except you can but them in a slightly smaller tank, if you want.
