Found mold in my walls so we ripped everything out and pretty much redid the whole basement, which is why the walls are now green (Mold free now =D)

WOW!! Wicked tank Flazky. I really like the aqua-scape. What are the dimensions of your display?

BTW, Welcome the the forum!

Oh yes! I will post the dimension on the top. Almost forgot haha.

My friends helped me out with the aquascape. Thmh and Typezero. Without their help, my tank wouldnt look as nice as it does!

Flazky's 166g Cube

I have to be the one to say it........
That's not a cube. A cube has all sides the same dimensions.
eg. 24x24x24.
Your tank is a rectangle.
Not that it is any less of a beauty.  I love the deep dimension tanks.

I had forgotten to mention that it was originally planned to be 36 x 36 x 36. Anyhow, I apologize to anyone who were disappointed after clicking my link to see a rectangular aquarium so I rectified the title to better suit  :-[

What a great build can't wait for future posts.

Love the rock work I'm looking forward to my bigger sump so I can take some rock out of the display.

Great work and welcome to the frag tank

Man that's sweet. Welcome indeed!

That is a TON of light and a ton of room, when that grows in you are going to have something spectacular!

wow....it looks killer.  Definitely a crazy amount of potential.  Your friends have not steered you wrong.

Did we met last time Tony and Long came down to my place?

Any chance of a after reno shot??

Definately. I will take a shot of the whole room once we have cleaned up a bit.  All reno was done by me and my gf so its not super professional =p

ballin' setup for sure!

how easy is it to clean the glass/maintain the tank with those dimensions?  Any issues?  I was thinking about something similar in the near future (48x30x24)

Its pretty easy. Only thing is if I had a choice, I would go eurobrace because cleaning the top without splasshing water everywhere is a pain =(
