MAN.. I'll plead guilty to giving up on them in the third. when I saw the second US goal, I said... they can't pen that defense. then I was on the road, turned on the AM radio and they were in OT! OMG. unbelievable. so I paid tribute to them by staying up late blarry eyed and watched the replay on CBC that came after midnight. (didn't catch the TSN replay). UNBELIEVABLE. very inspiring. I saw the shots of the faces of the canadian team on the bench in the third period after they fell behind. there was absolutely no panic, no worries, no doubt in their expressions. their intensity picked up at the end game. true champion blood in their veins.
